DESCRIPTION:OB SOUNDS is back by popular demand with a BIG line-up with a focus on house\, grime and rap. We have a stellar line up of local up and coming young DJ’s.  \n\n\n\nThe event is on Thursday 26th October 2023 from 6pm-9pm at The Observer Building (53 Cambridge Road\, Hastings\, TN34 1DT) \n\n\n\nPlease note: \n\n\n\n• This is an under 18’s event (age 14-17). \n\n\n\n• No alcohol will be served. \n\n\n\n• Bag searches on entrance. \n\n\n\n• Drinks or food are not allowed to be brought into the venue. This includes bottles of water. DESCRIPTION:‘Silver’ – Celebrating 25 years of Purdy Glass & Mirror Designs \n\n\n\nLocal decorative mirror and glass designer Alison Purdy is celebrating 25 years in business this month with an exhibition and pop up shop in the newly refurbished Observer Building in Cambridge Road\, Hastings. \n\n\n\nAlison is well known for her instantly recognisable mirrors and windows featuring elements from our local landscape and architecture – the beach\, fishing boats\, pier\, cheeky seagulls and iconic net shops. \n\n\n\nWhen you come along to the exhibition\, you will see a collection of colourful mirrors in a range of different designs to suit all homes\, tastes and budgets. All are handmade here in Hastings using a contemporary leaded glass technique coupled with illustrated and photographic elements and other materials. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition is open at the following times… \n\n\n\nFri 29th Sept 1-6\, Sat 30th 11-5\, Sun 1st Oct 12-4\, Mon 2nd 12-4\, Tues 3rd 12-4. \n\n\n\nEntry is free.
