Pitches for our 2025 Spring Market are £30 (including VAT).
If your application is successful, you will be sent and invoice which includes a link to make payment. Payment is to be made within 14 days of receipt of confirmation and is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that the market is cancelled, a full refund of your pitch fee will be made to you.
Pitches are 6ft by 3ft. All of the items for your stall must fit inside your pitch area.
We provide up to 2 chairs per stall, free of charge. We have a limited number of 6ft, 5ft and 4ft trestle tables available if you would prefer to use one of our tables instead of bringing your own. Tables are free of charge and are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We do our best to accommodate your preference of size. We do not provide tablecloths.
Our Spring market is open to the public between 10am and 4pm.
Stall holders can set up between 3pm – 5pm on the Friday afternoon, or from 8:30am – 10am on the Saturday.
The event space will be locked securely overnight. If you choose to leave items in the space overnight, you do so at your own risk.
Stalls may only be packed down at 4pm, when the market closes to the public. You will have until 5:30pm to pack down and be clear.
Yes! The building is fully accessible.
Yes. All electrical items you plan to use should be PAT tested.

There are double yellow lines outside the Observer Building and the surrounding streets. You will need to unload, find a parking space and then set up your stall.

Yes! The Observer Building is a dog friendly building.
Yes! The Café Bar will be open during the market and serves a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.
Food and alcohol may only be sold by stall holders if their product is packaged up and to be consumed off the premises.
The markets are advertised by our team on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the Observer Building website: https://theobserverbuilding.org.uk We distribute posters and flyers locally and there is an Eventbrite listing for each market.
Yes. All stall holders must include a copy of their Public Liability Insurance certificate with their application and food stall holders must also include their Food Hygiene certificate and any other relevant documentation.
