Hastings Book Festival – Journey to The Chosen Queen

Sam Davey is the founder of the Hastings Literature Festival, the precursor to our current Book Festival, and the author of an acclaimed new novel, The Chosen Queen, which shows the story of Camelot begins not with the sword in the stone, but rather with a twisted chain of murder, magic and deceit in a powerful feminist retelling featuring Igraine, the destined mother of King Arthur. 

Sam will be talking about her personal journey from starting a book event on the coast to publishing a work of fiction herself, and will be reading from her book and taking questions from the audience.
