‘Silver’ – Celebrating 25 years of Purdy Glass & Mirror Designs

Local decorative mirror and glass designer Alison Purdy is celebrating 25 years in business this month with an exhibition and pop up shop in the newly refurbished Observer Building in Cambridge Road, Hastings.

Alison is well known for her instantly recognisable mirrors and windows featuring elements from our local landscape and architecture – the beach, fishing boats, pier, cheeky seagulls and iconic net shops.

When you come along to the exhibition, you will see a collection of colourful mirrors in a range of different designs to suit all homes, tastes and budgets. All are handmade here in Hastings using a contemporary leaded glass technique coupled with illustrated and photographic elements and other materials.

The exhibition is open at the following times…

Fri 29^th Sept 1-6, Sat 30^th 11-5, Sun 1^st Oct 12-4, Mon 2^nd 12-4, Tues 3^rd 12-4.
