V.G. Lee’s Open Mic Night

Returning by popular demand, the Open Mic night is organised by our good friends at the Hastings Book Festival Fringe, and is hosted by Hastings literary legend, V. G. Lee. 

In what might be the best value night out for a long while, the evening will see 15 performers at the top of their game go head to head in the literary equivalent of WWF; a grand slam competition over 3 rounds with audience members’ selecting who goes forward to the gladiatorial grand final. 

Expect polished wordplay, passion and pathos galore as our doughty wordsmiths take to the stage in what promises to be a high octane, thrills and spills guaranteed night to remember. 

This is an epic contest, up there with Ali v Foreman and Oasis v Blur. 

Truly, miss it at your peril.
